Job Description
Moonvalley Capital, is a firm which specializes in Financial Advisory and Private Equity. We are looking for a Senior Analyst in Investment Banking , to become part of this core business of the Firm. The candidate will also have exposure into Private Equity. Currently, Moonvalley Capital is engaged in high-profile M&A and strategic advisory transactions across different stages. The engagements are in a variety of industries such as: power, infrastructure, IT, transportation, food nutrition, industrial, and others. Some of the engagements involve several countries in Latin America, where we are acting on behalf high profile multinational or regional clients. Moonvalley Capital has a clear growth plan for this core area.

Reporting
The Senior Analyst will have the privilege to report directly to a Partner of the firm, and will complement, and work together, with the rest of the high level Corporate Finance Team, in their search of new opportunities, as well as in the involvement of existing ones.

Job Objective
Actively participate in across the stages of M&A and strategic advice process. This will also entail direct contact with clients and prospects, and other key members of the advisory teams, that are typically formed for M&A processes. In the Private Equity space the candidate will form part of the team that evaluates, bids and closes investments of these type as well as supervises the assets once acquired.

Specific Tasks all of the following, with a high level of independence, responsibility and visibility:
• Analysis of market research/business opportunities.
• Valuation of companies/businesses.
• Preparation and coordination of due diligence processes.
• Lead the analysis and search of new opportunities/potential buyers and sellers for the Corporate Finance area.
• Direct relationship with other advisory firms worldwide.
• Involvement on all stages related to Private Equity investments.


Requirements
Bachelors in Business and Administration, Economics or Civil Engineering, with at least one year of work experience in corporate finance, strong vocation in the Corporate Finance business and with good analytical capacity, team work, business relationship skills and with a strong drive.

The professional must be autonomous, responsible, persistent, dynamic, proactive and with excellent interpersonal skills as well as a high capacity of analysis. Someone that likes to work outside of its comfort zone with an entrepreneur spirit.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Advanced level of English (oral and written) is a must.
